Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions apply whether by phone, via our website or Facebook page. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering as these terms will apply to any orders you place. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should not place an order. We reserve the right to refuse your order or booking should it be necessary.

Ordering & Allergens

Confirmation of your order will be sent to either the email address provided on the contact form (via our website) or through Messenger (via our facebook page). Any telephone orders will receive written confirmation by one of the methods above, based on the details provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Please make sure that the email address, home address and telephone number you provide are correct and in proper working order, as these are required to fulfil your order.

Your order confirmation is a record of our agreement to deliver the products ordered and paid for in full. If someone else made the order on your behalf, you agree that such person acted as your agent. Minimum order value applies unless otherwise agreed.

All products are subject to availability. In most cases, we will offer an alternative for any out-of-stock item.

If you have any allergy, we kindly ask that you write about it in the comment section of our order form or within your message in Messenger. For orders made by phone we ask you to inform us about any allergies you may have, and we are more than happy to make some adjustments in our dishes to meet your diet requirements.

Latest Order Time

We operate a 24 hour advance food ordering service and / or a prebooked onsite Professional Chef catering service. Enquiries outside of the minimum ordering time may result in a restricted menu as we only provide quality sourced ingredients for all of our dishes.

Delivery Time & Zones

We are a delivery service only.  Upon confirmation of your order and receipt of your payment we will provide you with a 2 hour delivery timeslot on your agreed date of delivery. We will do our best to accommodate preferred delivery time for all of our customers, occasionally factors, such as, high demand and traffic prevent us from achieving this. In these instances, we will contact you to advise of any alterations to your delivery time as soon as possible.

Our Heat@Home delivery zones:

Dalgety Bay, Aberdour, Inverkeithing, Crossgates, Rosyth, Dunfermline, North Queensferry, South Queensferry and coastal towns up to Crossford.

Our Professional Chef catering zones:

We are happy to consider all areas across Fife, Edinburgh and Lothians, up to and including Stirling for our prebooked on site Professional Chef catering services.

Payment & Pricing

Prices for our Mexican Heat@Home are as quoted on our menu.

A price range is provided on our Create Your Own Heat@Home Menu for 1, 2 and 3 courses. Specific prices are quoted at the time of enquiry based on the number of courses and specific dishes selected, as premium ingredients may mean the cost is within the higher range.

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Paypal

Prices for onsite Professional Chef Catering Service is based on your requirements detailed and agreed at the time of enquiry. A 10% booking fee is required in advance to confirm your date and is non-refundable. Full payment for services is required 48 hours in advance of event.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for one year from purchase.  All vouchers state the purchase date and voucher number to which we hold a record.  Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.   Vouchers with a specific name detailed cannot be used by any other person or third party without the our consent and the named persons consent.  Vouchers are set to a specific amount and no change will be given.  The customer will be liable to pay any additional amounts that are not covered by the set amount of the voucher (including delivery cost incurred over and above the voucher amount should there be one).  If the voucher is for delivery outside of delivery zones detailed in our terms, please agree delivery can be fulfilled prior to purchasing.  Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions or discount. Once the voucher has been redeemed the voucher cannot be used again.  We will always do our very best to accommodate gift voucher orders and preferred date for booking.

Products & Food Safety

I am Council approved and a fully insured business. I have a Supervisory Food Safety in Catering Level 3 Certificate, I am fully compliant with Food Allergen Legislation and I am Disclosure Scotland Certified. I also hold a Fife Council Alcohol License. All food prepared on or off site will follow all food safety and hygiene protocols as approved by Fife Council.

We guarantee that our Heat@Home dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. Ingredients (including allergens), are detailed on the main dish labels along with a use by date based on the date of preparation. Once our dishes have been delivered, it is the customers responsibility to correctly refrigerate and reheat the dishes as detailed on the reheating instructions provided on the label. We accept no responsibility or liability of the dishes where we have received a request to leave food unattended on the doorstep, where food has been incorrectly stored or following one safe reheat. Any further reheats, which we do not recommend, is the customers responsibility.

Product Imagery

All images used are for illustrative purposes only. Individual features such as ingredients, colour and other food items may vary. All images are intended to give a general indication of the finished product only and should not be used for purchase purposes. Please refer to product description for details of specific products. All images are not intended to form any part of any contract.

Cancellations, Refunds & Amendments

Cancellation or amendments to the order can be made no later than 24 hours prior to the delivery time requested, and must be made by phoning our contact telephone number directly. We will issue a refund to your account within 3 working days.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the start of the delivery time will be charged in full.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We have the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes we make to these terms and conditions will be posted on this page. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions at the time that you order.
